Roger W. Leasure III - CEO
As the CEO and founder of Capitol City Tile & Marble, a Union Tile shop, back in 1996, Roger has proven to be an entrepreneur with the ability to build for the future. His strategic planning and vision for the company have produced results that bring Capitol City to an elite level of operation on the West Coast that now expands from Southern California to Washington and transversely stretches into Arizona, Nevada and Idaho while maintaining a work atmosphere where employees are appreciated and validated for their efforts and production.

 


Jeff P. Turk - President
Jeff joined the team in August 2008 as the President of the Capitol City Tile & Marble team. Jeff has been a General Contractor in the states of California and Nevada and his been managing people in this industry for the past 17 years. His formal education from the University of California at Davis engaged his critical thinking and problem solving skills and he previously held the position as the Director of Operations for a Fortune 300 National Homebuilder where he was responsible for the initiation and start up of their Reno Division in 2003 and their growing homebuilding operations thereafter. His leadership, experience as a manager, and education have made an instant impact on the organization and direction that the Capitol City team is heading.

 


Eric Witcher - Chief Estimator
Eric manages our Estimating Department that includes all Estimators and Project Managers. He has been with the company since 2002 and includes four years of direct field experience. His ability to grow in our system has allowed him to take advantage of expansive growth over the past few years and establish himself as a leader and a member of our Senior Management Team. Eric has also taken the reins to serve as our Industry Expert that stays up to date with the latest product knowledge, new installation practices, and more efficient management techniques that help streamline our operations and help reduce our costs.

 


Russ Laird - General Superintendent
As the first employee of Capitol City Tile & Marble, Russ supports the company with more than 20 years as a Master Union Craftsman in the tile industry. His attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and knowledge of the trade establishes the foundation upon which all our field operations rest. He is a trainer, manager, captain and mentor to our field employees that heed his instruction and continue to learn from his expertise. The respect and appreciation he has for our field team has created a base of over 150 employees that serve as players on the Capitol City Tile & Marble Team.

 


Dennis Goodwin - General Superintendent
Dennis has been with the company since 2005 and in that time has become another Senior Manager of the growing Capitol City Tile & Marble Team. His 27 years of Union Tile Setter experience bring leadership and expertise in fast paced, High Rise tile and stone installation. Dennis’ integrity and demeanor have made him and example and a leader that continues to get our jobs done on time and within our budget. His role as a General Superintendent began in 2007 and reaffirms Capitol City’s philosophy of investing and providing opportunities for the employees that continue to make a difference. His exponential growth has proven to be a foundational pier to our management team and his presence continues to make a difference with all the other employees, the management staff and the contractors that we work for.

 


Jerry Herdemann - Warehouse Manger
Jerry started with the company in 2004 and has produced as a Warehouse Manager for the past 15 years of his career. His ability to procure and maintain materials while controlling our inventory and scheduling his team of drivers is only surpassed by his talent to manage high level operations and our fast paced environment. All of this is done while concurrently maintaining close relationships with all our suppliers to make sure that we not only manage our materials properly but also purchase at the most efficient level. Jerry also serves as part of our Senior Management Team.

 


Lisa Hollander - Accounting / Contract Administration
Lisa has been a part of the Capitol City Tile & Marble’s team since 2004 and handles all of our receivables, payables and contract modifications. Prior to her inclusion to the Capitol City team she spent 11 years working for a large General Contractor where she served as the Assistant Controller. Her personal drive and work ethic were the lifeblood of the company through its transitional years where she literally held every position in the office. Her knowledge of the industry’s systems and operating procedures are a vital part of the success and recent growth that Capitol City Tile & Marble has experienced.

 


Natalie Campbell - Payroll Administrator
Natalie has the wonderful position of being everything to everyone. Her primary job duties center around payroll processing, but due to her willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, she also assists with office administration and office management. Her previous background as a mortgage loan processor made her an instant asset to our team that continues to tackle all of the tasks she is asked to undergo while constantly learning more. Her presence on the Capitol City Tile & Marble team has helped us raise the bar of effort and performance.

 


Mike Best - Estimator
Mike has been a part of the company since January of 2004 and brings a love for mathematics and geometry to our company and his position. His attention to detail and ability to capture and remember plan specifications set a commanding level of all his jobs that not only impress our General Contractors but also solidify the confidence that the job will be done right the first time.

 


John Aleschus - Project Manager
As another young, bright spot in the future of the company, John brings management experience of eight years to the table of his current position as a Project Manager. His work with the estimating team and his excellent communication skills have positioned him as an asset to continue to be invested in. John’s two years of Architecture study and proficiency with computers made an easy transition into his PM role and his future as an Estimator.

 


Randy Farnham - Project Manager

 

Randy started with the company at the end of September of 2008 and comes to us from his past endeavors running High Rise work in Las Vegas for a National Tile Contractor. With 37 years of experience, Randy has had immediate influence and support of our large scale operations including Casinos, Hotels and schools. Randy also operated his own tile and marble company and has an inherent desire to continue his personal growth and education while passing on all the skills and knowledge he has obtained over the years to the next generation of industry managers.
